Fixed and Floating Pontoons

At our facility in the Galatina/Soleto industrial zone, we design and fabricate complete mooring systems for ports and marinas — including fixed and floating pontoons, breakwater moles and wave attenuators, fingers and mini-fingers, special structures, drawbridges, leisure platforms, sun decks, and all the infrastructure and fittings required to equip a fully operational port or marina.

Fixed Pontoons

Robust and highly stable, our fixed pontoons are supported on piles driven into the seabed or, where site conditions require, on alternative supports such as beams and base structures.

The core structure of each fixed pontoon module consists of hot-dip galvanised steel beams, manufactured in accordance with UNI EN ISO 1461, dimensioned and welded together to form a solid load-bearing frame. Decking is then fixed to this frame in premium hardwood or WPC (Wood Plastic Composite).

Fixed pontoons can be fitted with electrical and water supply systems and all associated user service points and fittings.

Floating Pontoons

Our floating pontoons are built to order, tailored to each project’s specific design requirements, with variable load capacity and freeboard to suit operational needs.

Pontoons can be fitted with electrical and water supply systems and all associated user service points and fittings.

The core structure of each floating pontoon consists of hot-dip galvanised steel beams to UNI EN ISO 1461, or Anticorodal 6060 T5/T6 aluminium, welded together to form a solid load-bearing frame and completed with electrically isolated aluminium stringers. Decking is fixed to this frame in premium hardwood or WPC (Wood Plastic Composite).

Breakwater Moles and Wave Attenuators

Concrete floating pontoons belong to the high-displacement, continuous-buoyancy class of floating structures, used as high-stability mooring quays.

They are constructed from specially engineered reinforced concrete elements, incorporating closed-cell expanded polystyrene blocks to ensure permanent buoyancy and unsinkability.

The high displacement and the presence of keels provide not only exceptional stability in the water, but also a degree of attenuation of short-period incident waves acting on the structure.

Modules feature an anti-slip treated concrete walking surface and/or decking in premium hardwood or WPC (Wood Plastic Composite), with a perimeter fender in premium hardwood, WPC or EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate).
