INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY
NUOVA METALMECCANICA Srl places as its priority objectives the safeguarding of workers’ health and safety, the protection of the environment and territory, and customer satisfaction.
The company adopts the standards UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 45001:2018 as references for implementing its Policy in relation to the following activities: CONSTRUCTION, ASSEMBLY AND MAINTENANCE OF METAL STRUCTURES AND INDUSTRIAL PLANT COMPONENTS. DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF COMPLETE MOORING SYSTEMS.
The company promotes and encourages process innovation, research and development of new technologies, and training, and fosters the involvement and participation of all staff.
In order to implement the Policy, Management commits to the following:
HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK:
- complying with all current regulations on workers’ health and safety
- providing adequate staff training to ensure all work activities are carried out in full safety and to instill a “safety culture” in everyone
- creating a safe and healthy working environment and providing adequate safety and emergency equipment for personnel
- promoting consultation and participation of workers and their representatives in decision-making processes
- carrying out periodic health surveillance of workers exposed to risk
- setting continuous improvement objectives in the field of workers’ health and safety
- adopting processes and procedures to eliminate hazards and reduce risks to workers’ health and safety
- ensuring that personnel are free from the influence of alcohol and drugs
QUALITY:
- guaranteeing compliance with customer requirements, those of interested parties, and applicable regulations
- establishing and monitoring quality objectives for work and products constructed and maintained
- optimizing costs and improving internal efficiency
- expanding presence at national level through innovative work and production, and consolidating relationships with customers and interested parties
- pursuing continuous improvement through the commitment of all internal resources
ENVIRONMENT:
- complying with national and local environmental laws and regulations, other authorization requirements, and compliance obligations
- protecting the environment, preventing pollution, reducing emissions, waste, and the consumption of natural resources in activities and installations constructed and managed
- setting continuous improvement objectives for environmental performance and monitoring the life cycle of works and products
- adopting technological processes that offer the best environmental impacts in technical and economic terms
- assessing the environmental aspects of activities and products and adopting management procedures to minimize any significant environmental impact
- developing training for all company personnel in order to promote and encourage every initiative aimed at protecting the environment
- encouraging suppliers to adopt an environmental management system
- communicating with and involving interested parties
This Policy is integrated with other corporate strategies aimed at improving productivity, profitability, reliability, and image.
Improvement objectives are defined annually, against which the validity and effectiveness of the Management System are measured and evaluated, and for which adequate means and resources are made available.
