Nuova Metalmeccanica has installed a new hybrid filtration system for COLACEM SPA (Sesto Campano Plant). These are significant works, both in scale and complexity, which engaged Nuova Metalmeccanica srl to its full technical and organizational capacity. The transformation of the Sesto Campano filtering station follows the one carried out at the Galatina plant and will continue, in successive phases, throughout 2023, at other plants within the group (Gubbio, Rassina) — a clear sign of precise strategic choices regarding environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
Hybrid filtration technology (electrostatic and fabric-based) makes it possible to keep emissions under control under all operating conditions. Following the two installations (Galatina and Sesto Campano), Nuova Metalmeccanica is currently completing, at its facility on Via Praga 10 in the Galatina/Soleto industrial area, the fabrication of the structural steelwork required for the transformation of the filter at the Gubbio plant (approximately 90,500 kg of technological steelwork).
